How to Read the Model
1. Status mapFind the quadrant first: supported, cooling, process upside, or under-lean.
2. OSI + PALSConfirm raw offense with pitcher-adjusted context.
3. ArchetypeUse RCV/OBR shape to separate damage teams from traffic teams.
4. PP-Gap + projOSICheck whether process is ahead of results or results are stretched.
5. ContextFinish with trend, platoon, pitcher hand, and sample size.

All Formulas
ABQ = 30% Discipline + 35% Contact + 20% Pitch Pressure + 15% K Avoidance
RCV = 35% wRC+ + 32% Barrel/park + 20% ISO/park + 13% HardHit/park
OBR = 65% xwOBA + 35% BB%
OSI = 43% RCV + 37% ABQ + 20% OBR
projOSI = OSI + clip((xwOBA - wOBA) × 450, -8, +8)
OOR = 55% HvR + 45% HvL
PALS = (BA+ + PTF+) / 2

Metrics are pool-normalized to 0—100 within the active leaderboard sample. Park factors adjust barrel/ISO/hard-hit for home environment.

Nine Signal Definitions
Signal 1 — K% vs OBR

Read: Low-K arm against a lineup with on-base floor.

Use: Traffic, team total, and over context.

Signal 2 — BB% vs ABQ

Read: Command risk against a patient lineup.

Use: Walk/traffic pressure or pitcher edge if command is clean.

Signal 3 — HR/9 vs RCV

Read: Homer risk against damage quality.

Use: HR props, totals, and slug-heavy lineup spots.

Signal 4 — OSI vs Pitching Score

Read: Offense strength versus staff suppression.

Use: Primary matchup gap.

Signal 5 — PALS + projOSI

Read: Schedule-adjusted quality plus regression support.

Use: Buy-low or fade confirmation.

Signal 6 — OBR + BB%

Read: Table-setting against walk risk.

Use: Run creation paths without needing homers.

Signal 7 — ABQ platoon

Read: Handedness-specific plate-process edge.

Use: Lineup construction and SP hand context.

Signal 8 — RCV archetype

Read: Damage/traffic profile label.

Use: Decide whether the team wins through slug or base traffic.

Signal 9 — Schedule OOR

Read: Opponent difficulty versus baseline.

Use: Separate real form from soft/tough schedule noise.

Convergence: Fired signals sum weighted votes (PP-Gap counts double). Play flag at 4+ weighted convergence.

High/Mid — slug-first. Over F5 if SP vulnerable.

Boom-or-Bust

High/Low — volatile overs, risky unders.

Table Setter Plus

Mid/High — grind, RL +0.5.

Balanced

Mid/Mid — neutral, use signals.

Contact Floor

Mid/Low — limited paths.

OBP First

Low/High — walks, unders on K arms.

Glove Line

Low/Mid — weak damage.

Cold Profile
